Job summary

Schneider National in Evanston, IL is seeking intermodal drivers to haul freight containers on company-owned chassis. This 100% no-touch freight that is 50% drop-and-hook offers steady miles across IA, IL, IN, MI and WI.

You will receive mileage and load pay plus hourly pay while on duty, a $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months, paid orientation, PTO after 6 months and holiday pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements strongly preferred.
• Live within 30 miles of Gary, IN.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Longevity bonus: Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year.
• $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
