Job summary

Amcor is seeking a HYBRID TRUCK DRIVER to transport goods nationwide from company facilities. The role requires a valid Class A CDL, ability to perform thorough pre-trip inspections, and strict adherence to safety and FMCSR rules.

You will coordinate with dispatch, plan routes and schedules, and operate within WMS/TMS systems. Responsibilities include loading/unloading as certified, securing cargo, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and DOT medical certification.
• At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience pulling 53ft trailers within the last 3 years.
• Ability to read Standard English text for requirements and documentation.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with dispatch and safety teams.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and freight using a truck or tractor-trailer.
• Complete pre/post trip inspections on tractor and trailer.
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded and secured.
• Plan routes, fueling, and delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Submit DVIR via ELD for any deficiencies.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance (FMCSR, hours of service).
• Use WMS/TMS to manage dispatch and inventory movements.
• Assist with load/unload and equipment operation as certified.
