Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Hybrid Truck Driver to join our Logistics/Freightlines department. The role requires operating a tractor-trailer, ensuring safe loading and securing cargo, and maintaining compliance with FMCSR and hours-of-service rules.

You will coordinate with dispatch, complete DVIRs, and manage daily trip documentation. The position emphasizes on-time pickups, route planning, and safe operation across various warehouses.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years, including pulling 53ft trailers.
• Ability to read Standard English text for requirements on pack lists.
• Verbal communication adequate to use a radio and coordinate with others.
• Proficient skill in JDE and ability to use TMS/WMS/ELD systems.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and freight using a truck or tractor-trailer.
• Perform pre/post trip inspection of tractor and trailer for safety and functionality.
• Inspect and secure cargo and review BOL for accuracy.
• Plan routes, fueling locations, breaks, and deliveries to meet deadlines.
• Submit daily trip sheets and weekly documentation.
