Qualifications

• Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of four years of high school.
• Class A CDL with X or N endorsements and no airbrake restrictions.
• One year driving experience immediately preceding appointment, free of incidents that could result in license suspension or revocation.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A licensed vehicles for highway maintenance.
• Perform labor relating to maintenance of roadways, bridges and related structures.
• Assist in snow and ice control during winter conditions.
• Maintain roadside and right-of-way upkeep and basic housekeeping of work sites.
• Maintain on-the-job records and reports.
• Perform other duties as required within the scope of those enumerated.
