Job summary

You will conduct real-world durability tests on tires and vehicles, perform safety inspections, document findings, and report in clear driver logs. Travel off-site may be required; CDL A and ability to operate various vehicle types are essential.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED certificate is required.
• Valid CDL Class A driving license is required.
• Must be able to safely maneuver and operate all applicable vehicles; on-site training may be required.
• Must have the physical and mental dexterity to handle wheel assemblies and use mounting tools.
• Good vision, hearing, and cognitive skills with a current Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Test drive and evaluate pre-production vehicles and their systems.
• Conduct safety inspections and document findings clearly in driver reports.
• Perform tire, durability, and regulatory tests and report results.
• Record observations in logs or electronic data systems; communicate with engineers and shift supervisor.
• Travel off-site as needed and participate in training courses.
