Yancey Bros. Co. is actively seeking a Heavy Haul Driver in Georgia to safely load and deliver heavy rental equipment with a focus on customer service excellence.

The role requires operating CDL A tractors and trailers, maintaining compliant DOT logs, and providing clear instruction on equipment operation at delivery. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to manage delivery software and electronic logs.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Ability to manage electronic DOT log books and delivery software via tablets.
• Capable and competent in operating and loading a variety of machines onto vehicles.
• Customer service oriented with a strong, proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL assigned tractor and trailer.
• Maintain safe driving record and follow all safety guidelines, PPE usage.
• Keep DOT log book up to date and compliant.
• Use IR Mobile APP before shipping and after delivery to our location.
• Safely load/unload equipment onto vehicles and trailers.
• Inspect equipment for safe operation and cleanliness before departure.
• Obtain customer signature on rental contracts and damage inspection sheets at delivery.
• Provide customer overview of equipment operation at delivery.
• Document any damage with photos prior to loading.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service with all customers.
