Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a CRS Tractor Trailer Driver in Georgia to deliver and pick up rental equipment with a CDL A. You will complete pre/post-delivery inspections, document drops and pickups, and provide familiarization of equipment to customers.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in heavy equipment transport, a valid CDL A, and strong English communication. The role emphasizes safety, documentation accuracy, and high-quality customer service at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Must be 23-years-old or older.
• Valid, active CDL license. Class A preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a driver for heavy equipment transportation or heavy-duty trucking.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to clear driver screenings and provide necessary information for a complete DQ file including Road Test, Background check and MVR with <10 points, DOT Physical, Drug Screen.
• Must not be disqualified to drive a CMV under 49 CFR § 383.5 or 49 CFR § 383.51.
• Ability to manage electronic log books and delivery software via electronic tablets.
• Customer service oriented with a rock star attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL assigned tractor and trailer combination.
• Maintain safe driving record and follow safety guidelines for operating and loading equipment with proper PPE.
• Maintain DOT log book to be 100% compliant.
• Take digital pictures of equipment prior to delivery.
• Safely load and unload equipment onto the vehicle.
• Inspect equipment for safe operation and cleanliness before delivery.
• Obtain customer signature on rental contract and inspection sheet at delivery (80%+).
• Provide a familiarization overview of equipment to customers on delivery.
• Demonstrate customer service in a positive manner to customers and colleagues.
