Job summary

Cianbro Equipment is seeking a qualified Truck Driver - Equipment to safely transport heavy machinery and materials for construction projects across the United States. You will perform pre-trip inspections, log hours, and ensure loads are secured according to DOT regulations and company policy.

Travel may require up to 3–4 nights away from home weekly; weekends are not typically required. A valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and at least five years of flatbed/overweight load

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience hauling flatbeds, construction materials, and mixed freight.
• Experience transporting overweight and oversized loads required.
• Experience hauling equipment on lowboy/low-bed trailers preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Ability to operate a front-end loader and familiarity with aerial lifts, excavators, dozers, rollers, and forklifts.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Ability to lift, climb, and perform physical duties associated with loading, securing, and inspecting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport construction materials and heavy equipment in compliance with company policies and all DOT regulations.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload construction materials and equipment.
• Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, hours-of-service records, and equipment inspection reports.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and company personnel.
