Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related work experience with heavy equipment and some construction/grounds maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates a wide variety of heavy equipment to accomplish construction and maintenance tasks.
• Loads and hauls heavy equipment and machinery on trucks to transport equipment.
• Operates equipment such as bulldozer, front-end loader, backhoe, motor grader, and other heavy machinery.
• Drives trucks and delivers equipment to locations.
• Performs safety inspections and routine maintenance; assists with repairs as needed.
• Inspects equipment and vehicles and makes minor repairs or adjustments.
