Job summary

Richland Maintenance, the district's primary operator of tractor trailer/low-boy, seeks a skilled driver to transport heavy equipment across the district. A Class A CDL with no Z restrictions is required, and the CDL must be obtained within six months of placement.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading stockpile materials with heavy-duty forklifts, operating related equipment (tractor mowers, belt loaders, motor graders, trackhoe), and assisting in emergency or inclement weather

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license required.
• Must obtain Class A CDL within 6 months of placement.
• CDL must have no Z restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Transport heavy equipment district-wide using tractor trailer/low-boy.
• Operate dump trailer and haul stockpile materials.
• Load and unload using heavy-duty forklifts; operate equipment to prepare for transport (tractor mowers, belt loaders, motor graders, trackhoe).
• Assist in emergency and inclement weather operations.
• May require extended hours or 12-hour shifts.
