Job summary

Herman N Logistics is seeking a CDL-A truck driver for a dedicated account (Otsego, MN area) with home daily schedules and a five-day workweek. You'll handle multi-stop deliveries, predominantly between Otsego and Chicago, with liftgate unloading and required hazmat endorsement.

The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, weekly pay, and new Freightliner day cabs. Hazmat training is provided during onboarding, and valid DOT medical card is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Minimum 9 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Able to work weekends.
• Hazmat endorsement required; Ruan provides hazmat training assistance upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-stop loads for the dedicated account.
• Unload at each stop using liftgate and pallet jack.
• Maintain safe driving practices and ensure on-time deliveries to Chicago and back.

Job description

Pay & Bonuses

• Average $84,000 per year
• $0.571 per mile plus $22.50 per stop
• $5,000 sign-on bonus, with the first payment after 30 days
• Paid weekly

Schedule & Home Time

• Home daily
• Five-day workweek with two consecutive days off
• Available schedules: Sunday–Thursday, Monday–Friday, or Tuesday–Saturday
• Overnight dispatch times between 6 PM and 3 AM
• Average 40–60 hours per week

Routes & Freight

• Dedicated Advance Auto Parts account
• Mix of multi-stop deliveries and shuttle runs to Chicago and back
• Dry van trailers
• Driver unload required at each stop using a liftgate and electric pallet jack

Equipment

• New automatic-transmission Freightliner day cabs

Endorsement Requirement

• Hazmat endorsement required
• Ruan is willing to assist with hazmat training and obtaining the endorsement, provided the process is initiated upon hire

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 9 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
