Job summary

Airgas in Mebane, NC is seeking a CDL A HazMat Bulk Driver for local bulk cryogenic logistics. You will operate a tractor-trailer, perform required inspections, and ensure safe, timely deliveries to customers and storage sites.

Responsibilities include reporting accidents or safety issues, completing DOT and company reports, and maintaining high safety and service standards in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; military tech or two years technical college considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer to deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and address maintenance needs.

R10096847 Class A CDL HAZMAT Local Driver (Open)

Location: Mebane, NC (AMG) - Bulk cryo logistics

Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle (Tractor-trailer) combination, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner. Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed. Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to include service interruptions immediately to their supervisor. Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.

• Drive tractor-trailer to deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and address maintenance needs.
• Report accidents, safety issues, citations, and customer complaints immediately.
• Complete required DOT and company reports.

Are you a MATCH?

Equired Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 3+ year experience as driver of tractor - trailer vehicles
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience
• Preferred, Three (3) years of Haz-Mat or Tanker experience
• Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases, preferred________________________
