Job summary

Veolia North America is hiring a Waste Transport Driver to pick up and move hazardous and non-hazardous waste across assigned routes. You will label, bundle, and ship waste with regulatory compliance, performing pre-trip inspections and maintaining safety standards.

Starting pay is $27.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package. Overnight shifts are required, and you will interact with customers at various levels while ensuring accurate paperwork and routing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement required for transporting waste.
• By law, you must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
• Label containers and complete manifests & work orders while adhering to your route.
• Classify, segregate and inventory waste containers in storage for shipment; conduct lab pack operations.
• Perform regulatory training, compliance and safety tasks; pre-trip inspections; report issues to supervisor.
• Provide services related to hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal from customer sites; prepare manifests and reports.
