Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC seeks a hazardous waste transport driver to travel on assigned routes, packing, transporting and disposing of waste according to environmental policies. The role includes 3–5 overnights per rotation cycle, hotel expenses paid and a nightly per diem, with overtime and some weekend work.

Starting pay is $30.00 hourly, with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision and a 401(k) plan. Must have a Class A CDL, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is important.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• DOT physical, drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Pack, transport and properly dispose of waste per environmental policies.
• Travel to locations on assigned route; interact with customers and staff.
• Be in rotation for overnight work on neighbor islands 2 weeks of the month; 3–5 overnights per rotation.
• Overtime is mandatory; EST OT 5 hours per week.
