Job summary

Blue Ridge Haulers is seeking CDL-A graduates for a dedicated driving role on a 100% no-touch freight account, primarily east of I-35 with occasional longer runs. You’ll train and transition to solo pay with a 0.55 CPM rate, earning weekly gross of roughly $1.2k–$1.5k plus $800–$900 training pay during OTR training.

Home every other week for two days off; dogs and riders welcome after training. New CDL-A holders are welcome to join the full paid training program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years and no major violations (15+ mph over, following too closely, reckless or careless driving) in the last 12 months.
• No more than 1 preventable DOT accident in the last 2 years (major accidents such as rollover or jackknife must be 5+ years old).
• No more than 3 preventable incidents in the last 3 years, and no more than 3 total incidents and DOT preventable accidents combined in that period.
• No more than 1 DUI in the last 5 years and no failed DOT drug tests, ever.

Run 100% no touch freight with consistent miles and steady home time on this dedicated account, operating primarily east of I-35 with occasional runs further out.

Pay and Scheduling Breakdown

• Starting pay $0.55 CPM once solo
• Average weekly gross of $1,200 to $1,500 running 2,500 to 2,800 miles per week
• Home every other week for two days
• Training pay $800 to $900 per week during the OTR training period

Training Program

• 250 to 300 hours behind the wheel with a trainer required to go solo
• Training is run OTR due to limited local trainer availability
• Transition to full solo pay of $0.55 CPM upon successful completion
• Dogs and riders welcome once solo, not permitted during training
