Job summary

Nestlé Dunkirk factory in New York seeks a CDL-A Yard Jockey / Forklift Operator to safely operate yard equipment and forklifts, perform pre-operational checks, and participate in risk assessments. You'll move trailers to docks and yard locations, monitor temperatures, and help maintain a clean, efficient yard.

The role requires a Class A CDL and 6+ months of equipment experience. It offers hourly pay starting at $22.48 with staged progression to higher rates, plus Nestlé's competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL with driving experience required.
• 6+ months forklift or heavy equipment operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, monitor and problem solve throughout the yard.
• Safely operate a forklift for loading/unloading, line hauling, and stocking.
• Monitor storage reefer temperatures and fuel levels.
• Perform preventative routines and coordinate repairs as needed.
