Penske Logistics is seeking Immediate Opportunities for Full-time Class A Floater Truck Drivers in the Birmingham, AL area. Average earnings around $85,000 annually with home daily when based in Birmingham. Travel expenses including hotel and rental car are covered, with a driver referral bonus up to $5,000 per referral.

Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire. You will cover Class A and certain Class B routes, unloading with pallet jack, and may travel to Montgomery as needed.

Formación

• Must have valid Class A CDL and be domiciled in the U.S.
• DOT medical card required for interstate operation
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency required by federal law
• Background check and drug screening required
• Role is safety-sensitive per DOT requirements and requires alertness

Responsabilidades

• Cover drivers on vacation, sick, or unavailable
• Cover Class A routes and Class B straight truck routes
• Perform multi-stop deliveries to retail stores
• Unload freight using a pallet jack
• Travel to Montgomery, AL as needed for coverage
• Overnight travel when traveling outside Birmingham
