Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is hiring a CDL A Flatbed Driver to deliver gas grill cylinders to AmeriGas locations by tractor-trailer. You will load/unload pallets, meet DOT hours, and may have layovers with a sleeper cab.

Daily updates to the Operations Manager are expected, with potential tank refurbishing duties to support customer needs. The role requires a valid CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements and clean driving record.
• Regional hauling w/ tractor trailers experience preferred.
• Experience securing loads in cargo-van and flatbed configurations.
• No more than 3 tickets in 3 years and no accidents in past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver gas grill cylinders to AmeriGas locations by tractor-trailer.
• Load and unload pallets of cylinders at district locations and production facility.
• Adhere to DOT hours; sleeper cab available for layovers as needed.
• Communicate daily with Operations Manager regarding work activities.
• May participate in tank refurbishing to meet customer needs.
