Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to deliver gas grill cylinders to AmeriGas locations by tractor-trailer. You will load/unload pallets at district locations and production facility, with sleeper cab.

You may have layovers to comply with DOT hours and will coordinate with the Operations Manager daily. The role requires CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, ability to lift 50 pounds, outdoor work in all weather, and a flexible schedule to service customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements and a good driving record.
• Regional hauling experience preferred.
• Experience securing loads in cargo-van and flatbed.
• No more than 3 tickets in 3 years and no accidents in the past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver gas grill cylinders to AmeriGas locations by tractor-trailer.
• Load and unload pallets of cylinders at district locations and production facility.
• Maintain communication with Operations Manager about daily activities.
• Participate in tank refurbishing to meet customer needs.
