Job summary

Standard Logistics is seeking an experienced CDL‑A truck driver to safely operate inter‑city routes and load/unload freight as required. You will verify bills of lading, follow DOT and company safety rules, and maintain accurate logs and records.

The role requires at least one year of Class A driving, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently. TWIC is recommended. Flatbed or other labor‑intensive work is preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license required.
• DOT drug and alcohol screen completed pre-employment.
• Clean driving record required.
• Intrastate and Interstate driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates inter-city trucks and loads/unloads freight as required.
• Verifies freight with bills of lading and manifests; completes required paperwork.
• Complies with DOT, safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintains driver logs and uses GPS or routing devices to plan trips.
• Communicates with dispatch and customers regarding instructions and delays.
