Job summary

Iron Road Logistics in Maryland is seeking a dependable CDL A Truck Driver to transport equipment safely to customer and company sites. You will operate flatbeds, lowboys, and trailers, secure loads with chains, and interact professionally with customers on-site, while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety policies.

This role requires at least one year of verifiable flatbed experience, a clean driving record, and a current DOT Medical Card.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A with a clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum of one-year verifiable flatbed experience.
• Strong knowledge of DOT and applicable truck driving regulations.
• Commitment to safety and responsible driving practices.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks and tractor-trailers to transport equipment to and from designated locations.
• Load, secure, and transport equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical or safety concerns.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance checks and report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving time, work/rest periods, and required documentation.
• Comply with all applicable truck driving laws and regulations, including size, weight, routing, parking, and break requirements.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
• Interact professionally with customers, Crownstone Equipment employees, and McGrew Auction teams.
