City of Norfolk in Virginia's Department of Utilities seeks an Equipment Operator II for the Water Distribution Division. You will drive and operate large trucks to deliver and haul construction materials and equipment to job sites, and assist with loading/unloading and maintaining clean equipment.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, at least two years of heavy equipment experience, and the ability to perform minor maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL; may require Tanker Endorsement within six months of hire.
• Class A CDL required.
• Two years of operating heavy equipment experience.

Responsabilités

• Drive and operate large trucks to deliver/haul construction materials and heavy equipment.
• Transport personnel to job sites and assist with loading/unloading.
• Perform minor maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean.
