Job summary

R.H. White seeks a skilled dump-truck driver to transport and unload loose materials at construction sites in Maine. You will support the Utility Construction Crew with piping and labor tasks, operating a heavy dump-body truck with GVW over 26,001 pounds.

Candidates must hold a valid CDL A, be able to obtain OQs with company training, and maintain OSHA-10, DOT medical card, plus pass drug, background, and MVR checks as required by regulations. Our culture emphasizes safety and community impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of previous general labor construction experience.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Must have or be able to obtain (company-provided training) and maintain Operator Qualifications (OQs) related to gas utility installation and services/construction.
• OSHA-10 Certification (company-supported if not current).
• DOT Medical Card (assistance provided).
• Valid CDL A U.S. driver's license.
• Successful drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review per federal/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials.
• Performs piping and laboring functions in support of Utility Construction Crew.
• Tow truck and trailer combinations with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) up to and over 26,001 pounds.
