McGill Environmental Systems is hiring a CDL A Driver to support our compost manufacturing and transportation operations. You’ll move organic materials and finished compost between customer locations and facilities, prioritizing safety and on-time service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Safe driving record
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional weekends as needed
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, dump trailers, roll-offs, and walking floor trailers
• Transport organic materials, yard waste, and finished compost products
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete required DOT logs, inspection reports, and load documentation
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Maintain consistent communication with dispatch and operations teams
• Ensure loads are secured and transported safely
• Assist with loading and unloading activities when needed
• Deliver excellent customer service at all locations
