Job summary

DriveTime Transports in Chicago, IL is seeking qualified CDL-A drivers for a regional intermodal position out of Chicago with home weekly, a 5‑day workweek and consistent miles. You will drive IL/IA/IN/MI/WI with an assigned truck and predictable home time.

Minimum 6 months of tractor-trailer experience is required, with a verifiable record. No DUIs in the past 5–10 years depending on CDL status, and no major violations in the recent past.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months current tractor-trailer experience; verifiable.
• No more than 2 MVs in the last 2 years. No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months.
• No more than 1 on-road or DOT preventable loss in the last 2 years. No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI within the past 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL-A; no DUI/DWI within the last 5 years if before CDL-A.

Responsibilities

• Run: IL, IA, IN, MI, WI.
• Consistent miles and freight; less inner-city driving.
• Assigned truck and consistent home time.

HOME WEEKLY - 5 DAY WORK WEEK!

MINIMUM 6 MONTHS CURRENT TRACTOR TRAILER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

RUN: IL, IA, IN, MI, WI

CONSISTENT MILES AND FREIGHT, LESS INNER-CITY DRIVING, ASSIGNED TRUCK AND CONSISTENT HOME TIME

CPM: $.62 PLUS $20 PER LOAD (PLUS NIGHT DIFFERENTIAL WOULD ADD $.06 CPM AND WEEKEND WOULD ADD $.12 CPM)

WEEKLY AVERAGE - $1500

****ANY ACCIDENTS (REGARDLESS OF FAULT) WILL REQUIRE A CRASH REPORT IF ACCIDENT WAS IN THE LAST 5 YEARS****
