Job summary

New World Van Lines is hiring experienced CDL Class A truck drivers to join our nationwide team. You will operate and maintain equipment, safely load and unload household goods, and collaborate with dispatch to meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and documented driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations.
• Commitment to safety, accuracy in logs, and professional conduct.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of handling basic computer tasks for logs and dispatch communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Safely load, secure, and unload household goods and possessions.
• Plan efficient routes and ensure timely delivery while obeying traffic laws.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain mileage and hours of service records and other required documentation.
• Provide courteous customer service and address inquiries or special requests.
• Collaborate with dispatch to optimize route planning and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
• Keep the cab and trailer clean and professional in appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
