Job summary

As a driver you will operate and maintain Class A trucks, load/unload household goods, plan routes with dispatch, and maintain accurate logs and safety records while delivering exceptional customer service to our clients.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing the transportation industry.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to load, secure, and unload household goods as needed.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and extended shifts when necessary.
• Basic computer skills for electronic logs and communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Safely load, secure, and unload household goods and possessions onto the truck.
• Plan and execute routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety guidelines.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and its equipment, reporting issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, hours of service, and other documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and requests.
• Collaborate with dispatch to optimize route planning and efficiency.
• Adhere to company policies and safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and trailer.
• Perform any and all duties as assigned.
