McLane is hiring a CDL-A Driver Trainee in the United States. You will train with experienced drivers and learn to maneuver, inspect, and deliver safely on local/regional routes. Starting pay supports training with eventual, competitive pay plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must possess a Class A CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Meets MVR and risk requirements.
• Able to read labels and bills of lading.
• Able to perform basic math for quantities.

Responsibilities

• Learn to attach trailers and secure loads.
• Operate tractor-trailer safely and in compliance with laws.
• Inspect equipment pre/post trip and report defects.
• Document deliveries and temperatures with handheld device.
• Assist unloading and ensure on-time, undamaged delivery.
• Provide customer service and handle credits.
