McLane is hiring a CDL-A Driver Trainee in the United States. The role offers paid training, hands-on coaching, and benefits from day one.

You will grow into a driver responsible for on-time deliveries, safety, and customer service across a nationwide network. Post-training pay ranges from $90,000 to $95,000 per year, with training pay at $21 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read labels and bills of lading; perform basic Math.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver tractor into position to attach trailer and secure lines.
• Operate truck safely in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Inspect equipment for defects and report conditions.
• Document deliveries, temperatures, and exceptions with the handheld device.
• Assist in unloading and delivering product to customer locations.
• Provide on-time, undamaged product delivery and customer service.
