Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking an entry-level Driver Trainee to learn tractor trailer or straight truck routes in Minnesota. CDL A is required; pay starts at $30/hour with $38/hour after training and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• CDL A license is required.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and road test.
• Have or obtain DOT Health Card; able to lift/move freight up to 90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete driver trainee program as required.
• Ride with trainer and learn deliveries.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations; report issues.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines.
• Drive to deliver orders, unload and obtain signatures; manage paperwork.
