Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an entry-level Driver Trainee to learn tractor trailer operation and local/interstate deliveries. You will train and work toward independent driving on routes with early starts and a Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional 4-day weeks.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered, though workers previously employed by a PFG-owned company may be ineligible. Starting pay is $30/hour with $38/hour average after training, plus component pay.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required and clean MVR.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and able to pass DOT medical card requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT.
• Drive to deliver customer orders on schedule.
• Unload items, secure freight, collect signatures and payments when required.
