Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience with a verifiable safety record.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing the transportation industry.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a Class A vehicle in compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain safety of the motoring public, self, and equipment.
• Safely load, secure, and unload household goods at customers' homes.
• Plan and execute routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain accurate mileage and hours of service records per regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and requests.
• Collaborate with dispatch to optimize route planning and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage.
• Keep truck cab and trailer clean and professional.
