Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Class A CDL Driver – Drop & Hook. The role focuses on safe pickup, transport and delivery of tires using drop and hook operations, with routes assigned by dispatch.

You will complete required documentation, maintain safety standards, and interact professionally with customers. Requires CDL, DOT/FMCSA knowledge, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; experience in tire recycling is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must meet FMCSA/DOT driver qualifications.
• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record required.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove and transport tires between customer locations and facilities.
• Perform drop and hook trailer operations and exchange loaded/empty trailers.
• Ensure loads are secured and compliant with DOT safety standards.
• Complete DOT logs, bills of lading, and other required paperwork.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness and safety.
