Job summary

Veolia is seeking experienced, professional drivers in Detroit, Michigan to transport and dispose of waste materials safely. Candidates must hold a valid CDL Class A with tanker and HazMat endorsements and possess strong knowledge of environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
• Valid Driver License, CDL Class A, Tanker and HazMat Endorsement required.
• Maintains a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).

Responsibilities

• Pack, transport and properly dispose of waste material.
• Pick up and transport waste safely following regulations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles and report losses or spills.
