OmniSource in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. You will drive a diesel-powered truck and trailer to pick up, transport, and deliver scrap metal, prioritizing safety and customer service.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, maintaining logs, and ensuring DOT compliance while coordinating with dispatch to meet delivery schedules. 2 years of tractor/trailer experience preferred, with valid CDL A.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license.
• Experience interpreting shipping documents and logs.

Responsibilities

• Hook and unhook trailers from tractor.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Drive in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Maintain driver logs and shipping records.
• Report accidents and route hazards.
• Coordinate with dispatch and field teams.
