Job summary

ProLift Rigging is seeking a full-time Rigging Technician to align, level, and anchor cranes and equipment on job sites. The role involves assembling rigging gear, connecting pulleys to overhead structures, and ensuring safe operation through tests and signaling colleagues during hoisting activity.

Candidate must have CDL Class A, rigging experience, and strong mechanical reasoning. Travel and overtime are expected; lifting up to 75 lbs is required, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A and rigging experience preferred.
• Willing to travel and work overtime; able to lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Aligns, levels, and anchors cranes and equipment.
• Assembles and installs supporting structures, rigging, hoist, and pulling gear.
• Connects pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps.
• Cleans and dresses machine and surfaces of parts.
• Controls movements of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
• Dismantles, maintains, and stores rigging equipment.
• Manipulates rigging lines, hoist to move or support materials, steel, and concrete.
• Selects gears, cables, and shackles according to load size, facilities, and schedule.
• Signals or gives direction to workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads for safety.
• Tests rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting and lifting.
• ProLift training and third-party/customer training may be required.
