Job summary

American Driver in Opelika, AL is hiring for a full-time CDL-A driver on regional lanes east of I-35. This program targets new CDL-A holders, offering real training, not busywork, with 2,200 to 2,800 miles per week on a 12 days out, 2 days home rotation.

You’ll operate a 2022 or newer tractor with no-touch dry van freight, mostly drop-and-hook, keeping miles steady. The paid mentor program runs 4–6 weeks with guaranteed pay, then you move into solo pay, with day-30 benefits and a strong

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• 21 years or older with a clean CDL.
• 6 months OTR experience or 120+ CDL program hours.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional no-touch dry van freight east of I-35.
• Maintain safety and DOT compliance on all runs.
• Participate in paid mentor program and training before solo driving.
