Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Driver in Montgomery, AL to transport and service portable restroom units and trailers. You will perform inspections, operate with safety as a priority, and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities include onsite repairs, loading/unloading, fuel management, and maintaining clear DOT logs. A valid CDL A with tanker endorsement and a clean driving record are required, along with a high school diploma

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with safe driving record and Tanker Endorsement.
• Ability to use technology to maintain DOT compliance records and logs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive/transport equipment to customer locations on time and safely.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Move equipment onsite and handle pick-up/delivery as requested.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain truck logs.
• Load and unload units and fuel vehicles as needed.
• Engage with customers and offer additional services when appropriate.
