Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a CDL-A Driver who will perform daily routes transporting portable toilets and related equipment to customer sites. You will inspect vehicles, log hours for DOT compliance, and perform on-site repairs and moves as requested. Strong safety practices and reliable customer communication are essential.

The role requires a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs, and willingness to work day or night with potential weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Tank endorsement is required.
• Strong safety focus and DOT recordkeeping ability.
• Able to mount/dismount trucks multiple times daily and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive/transport equipment to customer locations on time and safely.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as needed.
• Perform on-site moves, pick-ups, and deliveries of equipment.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain logs.
• Load/unload units and fuel vehicles as required.
• Maintain professional customer contact and assist with service recommendations.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
