Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Pursuing or holding Class A CDL
• Health Card possession or ability to obtain one
• HazMat endorsement or ability to obtain one (US/PR/Guam)
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for CDL drivers
• Maintain DOT Hours-of-Service compliance
• Willingness to drive interstate routes

Responsibilities

• Utilizing a handheld scanner
• Unloading product from trucks by hand, pallet jack, or forklift
• Delivering to branches and customer on-site locations promptly
• Interacting with shipping and receiving departments
• Maintaining a clean work area and equipment
• Inspecting and reporting defects or issues with equipment
• Complying with DOT and Fastenal safety regulations
• Participating in health, safety and sustainability trainings
• Following company environmental health and safety programs
