Job summary

Fastenal is hiring a Full-Time Driver (DOT-Class A CDL) to operate a late-model tractor trailer or straight truck from distribution centers to branches and on-site customer locations. You will unload at stops, maintain equipment, and ensure safety compliance per DOT rules.

The role requires a Class A CDL, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 60 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs, and willingness to drive interstate routes. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Possess or are currently in progress of obtaining a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of DOT regulations applicable to a CDL driver.
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements.
• Willingness to drive interstate routes across state lines.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor trailer or straight truck safely and efficiently.
• Unloading freight at each stop using hand, pallet jack, or forklift.
• Deliver to branches and customer on-site locations with prompt service.
• Maintain clean and organized equipment and work area.
• Comply with DOT and Fastenal safety regulations.
