Job summary

American Driver is recruiting drivers for steady regional freight out of Lincoln with a dedicated planning team and consistent lanes. We train new drivers in a 4–6 week program with $850/week guaranteed during training, then transition to solo pay.

Expect about 2,000 miles weekly, drop-and-hook with occasional live load, day and night shifts, and a 34-hour restart to get home weekly. After 30 days, medical/dental/vision, 401k with company match, PTO, and a $300 orientation bonus.

Qualifications

• Training program for new drivers (4–6 weeks) with guaranteed $850/week during training.
• Requires 120+ hours from CDL school to start.
• Experience path: 6 months OTR in the last year, or 1 year in last 5 years, to be eligible as experienced.
• Age 21+, CDL valid in home state.
• Clean driving record: max 2 moving violations in 2 years; no major wrecks in last 5 years.
• Hair and urine testing is part of the process.
• Military service counts toward experience (DD214 on file).

Responsibilities

• Approximately 2,000 miles per week, mostly drop and hook with occasional live load/unload.
• Single planner handles the Lincoln region, continuity in scheduling.
• Day and night shifts available; weekly 34-hour restart to be home.
• Weekends and holidays are part of the job.
