Job summary

King Asphalt, Inc. seeks an experienced truck driver to operate a tractor and various trailers to move construction equipment and materials.

You will perform daily pre-trip inspections, secure loads, and adhere to DOT safety regulations while delivering efficiently from site to site. The role requires a CDL A with 2 years of driving experience, ability to read trip tickets and DOT logs, and basic maintenance on tractors and trailers.

Qualifications

• CDL A license with at least 2 years driving experience.
• Ability to read and interpret trip tickets and DOT logs.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and load securement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip inspection of tractor and trailer.
• Load or secure equipment or materials onto trailer and verify securement.
• Drive to pickup areas and transport loads safely and efficiently.
• Complete trip tickets for moves and maintain DOT logs as required.
• Perform minor maintenance on tractors and trailers as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
