Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver to deliver and unload food products to customers, following DOT regulations and safety procedures. The role includes overnight and intrastate/interstate routes, with a focus on timely, accurate deliveries and professional interaction with customers.

The position requires 6+ months of commercial driving, a valid CDL-A and DOT Health Card, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A; be 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test and have DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Drive and deliver orders according to route schedule; unload at customer locations.
• Complete required paperwork and verify freight; collect payments where applicable.
• Maintain logs of hours of service per Federal DOT guidelines.
• Perform general housekeeping in tractor and loading dock areas; secure equipment.
