Job summary

Sysco Detroit is seeking a Driver to transport products from the warehouse to customer locations, safely handling loading and unloading and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. The role requires a valid Class A CDL and adherence to DOT and food-safety standards.

As a Sysco driver you will operate a tractor-trailer on a scheduled route, often overnight, with a focus on timely delivery and courteous customer service to restaurant and facility clients in the Monroe, MI area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer locations following route assignments.
• Unloads and loads products, ensuring accuracy and proper storage per customer specs.
• Completes all required logs, invoices and delivery paperwork per guidelines.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and adheres to safety and food-safety protocols.
