Job summary

Sysco is seeking a professional delivery driver to transport products from the warehouse to customers using a tractor-trailer, loading and unloading as required, and ensuring accurate delivery documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent; 1 year tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted in addition to a diploma.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required.”

Responsibilities

• Unload products from trailer and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Ensure all paperwork and logs (DOT, inspections, maintenance reports) are completed accurately.
• Maintain food safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse; communicate with customers professionally.
• Develop good relationships with customers through courteous service and clear communication.
