Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a dependable CDL-A Driver for a mix of OTR and Regional routes. You will be on the road 10–14 days at a stretch and return home for 2 days, earning between $55,000 and $75,000 annually with a full benefits package.

Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, DOT log maintenance, route planning, and delivering freight on time while delivering excellent customer service on every load.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Current DOT Medical Card must be current and valid.
• Clean driving record and safe driving practices expected.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and in compliance with DOT rules.
• Transport freight across assigned regional and OTR routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and address hazards.
• Log hours, inspections and required paperwork accurately.
• Plan routes and maintain on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Provide professional customer service to dispatchers and clients.
• Report maintenance needs and comply with safety policies.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance while representing the company.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL-A Driver to join our transportation team. This position offers a combination of Over-the-Road (OTR) and Regional routes, providing steady miles, competitive pay, and consistent home time. Drivers can expect to be on the road for 10-14 days followed by 2 days at home. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and commitment to delivering freight safely and on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and efficiently while adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Transport freight to customer locations throughout assigned regional and OTR routes.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Secure and protect freight to prevent damage during transport.
• Plan routes and manage delivery schedules to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, inspection reports, and required transportation documentation.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and management regarding delivery status and route updates.
• Monitor vehicle performance and promptly report maintenance or mechanical issues.
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company operating standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company.
• Assist with additional transportation and logistics duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Ability to meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle extended periods of travel.
• Previous OTR or regional driving experience preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
