Job summary

Valor is seeking CDL A drivers for a no-touch intermodal route with home weekly. Shift: Sunday–Thursday, start between 3:00–5:00 AM, covering CA, AZ, UT, NV and TX. Hazmat isn’t required but reimbursement is available if you choose it.

Pay is a mix of CPM and accessorials, averaging $1,540+ per week (~$80K yearly) with a $5K sign-on. Benefits begin after 30 days (PTO, 401K, medical, dental, vision). Trucks stay at the yard; you must live within 50 miles of ZIP 90280.

Qualifications

• 3 months verifiable Class A experience in the last 6 months OR
• 6 months verifiable Class A Experience in the last 12 months OR
• 12 months verifiable in the last 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations or incidents in the last three years and PSP warnings count towards a violation
• No more than 3 minor incidents or accidents in the last three years at fault
• No more than one highway accident in the last 12 months
• No major preventable accidents in the last three years in which the total accident cost was greater than $25,000
• Can not have failed a DOT Drug test in the last five years and must have one full year of safe driving under the SAP program
• If terminated from job for accidents must have 12 months safe driving
• If terminated from job for safety that was not an accident must be 6 months of safe driving
• All felonies and misdemeanors will be reviewed by safety but may not have any felonious drug charges in the last 7 years
• No more than two DUIs in a lifetime and none in the last five years
• No more than 5 jobs in last 3 years
