Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Topeka, KS is hiring CDL-A drivers for a Midwest regional dry van route. You’ll start with hands-on training, ride with an experienced trainer, and move into solo driving with full pay after sign-off.

The role offers weekly home time, ~2,000 miles per week, and a pay structure including training pay and weekly guarantees, plus bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• New CDL holders: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Valid license in your state of residence and verifiable work history for the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years, no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years, no DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

• Maintain around 2,000 miles per week.
• Home weekly for a 34 hour restart.
• Mostly drop and hook, same planner for your region.

How You Start

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads
• $850 every week during training
• Move into your own truck on full pay once your trainer signs off
• $1,000 weekly guaranteed pay for your first 3 months after first solo dispatch

• Average weekly gross of $1,400
• Higher regional pay scale
