Job summary

American Driver LLC in Mountain Home, Idaho, offers a first-year trucking program where new CDL graduates are mentored and paid while they learn. You’ll start with orientation and mentor-led training, then haul real freight across states west of the Mississippi and return home every two weeks.

Training lasts 3–5 weeks (200–250 hours) with weekly pay of $650 during training, and a weekly guarantee of $1,000 for the first 3 months solo.

Qualifications

• New drivers must complete CDL-A school of at least 120 hours.
• Valid Class A CDL, 21 or older.
• No DUI or DWI in the last 10 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• DOT physical and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Complete orientation and training with a mentor.
• Haul real freight and learn trip planning.
• Learn hours of service and backing at docks.
• Progress to solo driving after mentor signs off.
